Officers Nomination and Declaration – 2025
The package must be filled out completely and received to the RAiNA office Midnight (EDT) – Friday April 4, 2025 to be considered.
About the Board Role
Board terms are for three (3) years. The Board typically meets six times per year for approximately one-hour conference calls. Directors are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting, respond to emails, and participate in ballot voting. The expected time commitment is 2-3 hours per month.
Responsibilities of a Board Director:
- Help achieve the vision, mission, and values of RAiNA and support the strategic plan.
- Attend Board meetings.
- Actively participate in decision-making and Board activities.
- Represent RAiNA in alignment with its mission and values.
- Report to the Board on assigned areas of responsibility.
- Chair a committee, if desired.
- Dedicate sufficient time to fulfill director duties.
Nomination Process
- A person cannot nominate themselves; nominations must be made by a RAiNA member in good standing.
- Each nomination can include only one individual per Member Company.
- A completed nomination package must include:
- Nominee details (including biography and recent picture)
- A Primary Nominator Form (signed by both the nominee and the primary nominator)
- Three (3) additional Nominator Forms, each signed by the respective nominator
Note: All signatories must be from RAiNA members in good standing.
